You can't any longer, sad to say. We heard rumors that something might start up in 2010. There was a Western Union in Tokyo, but about 1 year ago it closed (2008). We used to go there ourselves.
People say use the PostOffice, but for us that was 1.5 hours & loads of questions and 1-long form. We do the bank but it is $40 over here, and another $20 over there. Others say try gollords.com but sending to places other than the top-10 western countries is not so easy.
We are pushing for Western Union to return.
