First you have to determine if the problem is the gauge in the dash, a bad fuel level sending unit, or a wiring problem. You'll need a digital ohm meter and a wiring diagram to check it out. If you're sure it's the dash gauge and the gauge is part of the instrument cluster, you can take it to a local speedometer repair shop and they can fix it.
