I have the instructions for the Simplicity Ellis with attached changing table.
Is there any way you can post the instructions or email them to us/me? I would REALLY appreciate it. We've lost our manual and since the company is out of business, we've been unable to find the manual for the crib with the attached changing table. I'd be soooo grateful!!!

A lot of these have been recalled, please make sure yours isn't one.
Its quite easy. Be sure the mattress is in the lowest setting. The safety rails came with the crib- hopefully you still have them- Remove the front piece of the crib- by simply removing the screws. You will need these screws to attach the safety rails. The metal bracket on the safety rail attaches to the metal mattress frame. Use two of the small screws that also came with the crib. Look at some pics online if you are questioning which way the safety rails go, but really, its wicked easy and I did it in less than 15 minutes!!
Lost directions to change to youth bed. Can you provide?
target, a friend of mine bought hers there.
The top rated crib for 2012 was the Stork Craft Tuscany 4-in-1 Stages Crib. That being said, there are many aspects to look at safety-wise when buying a crib. The first thing would be buying a brand new crib. Buying a used crib risked buying a crib that may have been previously recalled. Secondly, basic is always best. Studies have shown that cribs without lifting sides are safer. Lastly, if it can be afforded, opting for professional assembly is recommended.
Unfortunately, you have to purchase their additional sideboards - and this is how the mounting brackets attach to the headboard - from our research (and attempt), it will not attach to a standard bedframe. Also, mounting brackets are not included for the footboard, neither does it mention anything about attaching the footboard in the manual. It simply shows a picture including the footboard (but doesn't include the mounting brackets). I've tried calling Simplicity (July '09), their number is disconnected. I've tried emailing, their email is no longer working - it got sent back to me. I've tried researching the crib on their website, their website is "under construction" and does not include any information on it right now. Not sure if they're going to be around to assist with this.
One can buy a high quality convertible crib at retail stores like Home Depot. They offer free shipping and free assembly for this product. It is not very expensive.
