Democracy and Socialism.
Free enterprise Socialism Communism
If "socialism" is defined as public ownership of the means of production, then Norway, Singapore and Dubai would be examples of successful "state socialism" since they have many publicly-owned enterprises in their economies. If "socialism" is defined as co-operative ownership and mutual ownership of enterprise, then the economy of Spain during the Spanish Revolution and various co-operative enterprises operating in capitalist economies would be examples of successful socialism. If "socialism" means production for use, free distribution without the intermediary of money, then the open-source software movement would be an example of successful socialism, though a better description of this would be "communism".
The ten commandments are a good example because of the amount of control it has over the animals
Slugs and honesty are NOT social systems.

capitalism: an economic system based on private ownership of capital socialism: an economic system based on stateownership of capital
socialism
There was no African form of Socialism.
The political word that most closely represents the opposite of socialism is 'plutocracy', but then again, any form of economic elitism that seeks the political objective of maximum economic benefit for a tiny minority at the expense of the majority would be the opposite of socialism. There are many real-life examples of this, whether or not the government self-identifies: Saudi Arabia, Myanmar, Cuba, and more.
