The J C Higgins model 33 Pump action 22 are quite scrace and bring good prices The rifles were made by High Standard Manufacturing .they are excellent little rifles of high quality . The rifle was first intoduced in 1954 58380 Sears code 5833502 1961 these rifles were sold by Sears from 1954 to 1962 under the JC Higgins Brand in those Days The rifle was excusive Sears product. Sears owned a part of High Standard from 1962 on High Standard also offerd this model High Standard was always known for high quality well above average.
