I find that the colors blend together when using regular nail polish so i would recommend acrylic!
Red and yellow make orange, but i've never tried it with nail polish. You could buy an orange nail polish instead of mixing two colors though.

I did a science project on this and came to a conclusion that shiny (or glossy) nail polish lasts better and longer than matte nail polish. The brand I used was Sinful Colors.
You can't. Its a prime color. It makes other colors but you cant make it.
