At the time of the Hunt for Itachi arc Orochimaru took over 1/3rd of Kabuto's body. Kabuto is also a very cunning shinobi. His powers rivaled Kakashi Hatake on more then one occasion, and was able to fight on par with Tsunade, he even had the upper hand, though he has said he wasn't that good at hand to hand combat. Kabuto has a very extensive medical knowledge, he is only rivaled by Tsunade, Sakura Haruno, and Shizune. Finally, Kabuto has shown to be very intelligent, having 5/5 Intelligence on each of the Databook stats, and being able to trick Konohagakure for many of years, lieing to compete in the Chunin Exams.
