follow top radiator hose to the end, there is the thermostat in housing on end of hose. on 3.1 v6 it is under exhaust manifold! it looks like it would be hard to change but it can be done.

The thermostat is found at the end of the rad hose . Find the top rad hose and follow it to the engine .Their you will find a thermostat housing with the end of the hose attached . There will be 2 bolts holding down the housing to the engine undoe the bolts and pull the housing off and their will be the thermostat.
