I'm trying to find out how to hook up the vacuum hoses to the carb in a 85 delta 88. I need to know how they go.
Check every hose line one by one and it's connection to the engine. Some hoses rot at the connections and can be cut back and reattached. If not - install new hose.
Normally on the upper passenger side of the transmission. Find the vacuum hose coming from the engine to the transmission and you will find the valve.
Perhaps a vacuum leak
On my 1993 Oldsmobile 88, it is number "8"
Where is the starter relay located on the 1996 Oldsmobile 88?

How to change a timing chain in a 1998 Oldsmobile delta 88
you can buy the book for that car at a auto parts store
Do you have trouble with losing battery charge? Have alternator checked. Could also be plugged fuel filter...Vacuum hose is loose, bad battery cable connection. Start with the visible, battery connection, battery charge, vacuum hoses. If it's obviously none of those take it in for diagnostic tests.
Read your questions before posting them. What you just asked makes no sense. Do you mean an Oldsmobile Delta 88 from the year 1985?
Usually just needs a tune-up... plugs, wires, etc. Could be dirty/failed injectors or a vacuum leak.
