Jehovah's Witnesses are a non commercial Christian organization who are there to help humble truth seeking people to get to know what the/their bible teaches. They often leave new Bibles with people if they do not own a Bible. They do not charge for them, but if a person, who is able, offers to make a contribution towards the cost, they accept that and will put the amount in a contribution box for the world wide work in the Kingdom Hall where they meet. If you go to their official website at the related link, it is possible to down load the New World Translation in multiple languages.

If a Witness calls at your front door you can ask them to bring you a copy of that translation. A book that helps persons to get to know basic teachings of The Bible " What doe's the Bible really teach?" is also available from them at no charge. As a registered charity the Witnesses are, by law, in many lands not permitted to charge for their literature.
