Another source is the internet, where several web-sites can be found that offer items for free, including pets such as rabbits. Also on the internet are several good rabbit care sites, which often have a pet finder or "up for adoption" section. Finally, call your local pet shelter, as many rescue more than cats and dogs and take in other pets such as rabbits too. While not always free, the costs are usually not too expensive and the proceeds go to helping other rescued pets.
