Doubt it is different from the older model years, a diagram was posted on this website for an older model echo.

I checked the Gates website ( they make timing belts etc. ) and they don't list a timing belt for a 2005 Toyota Echo so it must be a timing chain . I did a Google search and the Toyota website shows the 2000 to 2005 Echo as having a timing CHAIN
It has a clock built into the radio/cd player.
Since the Toyota Echo was only produced from 2000 to 2005 one would need to look for them at used car dealers. Official Toyota retailers might have used Echos too.
