The dealership will have them for sure. Depending on the dealership its free or a small fee. Otherwise Walmart or other stores that sells batteries will have them. It takes a small watch battery. If you take the battery out if the fob, match the battery number.
Anyone knows Lexus Lx 470 key battery type?
Try replacing the battery first. If the transponder still doesn't work, start searching the 'Net for a replacement key.
Your Lexus dealer (Parts Dept) will change it for you for the price of the battery, I just paid $4.33 (Sept. 2008). If you want to do it yourself, purchase a CR2032 3v battery (flat disc) from somewhere like Radio Shack or Fry's Electronics. To open the key fob, hold the fob key-ring side up, and do these two things at the same time: 1) slide back the top compartment (with arrow) 2) lift that same top compartment while it's pulled back Once the top is removed, use your fingernail to pull out the battery holder, then slide the battery out of that & replace.

what is the replacement battery for a 2003 Honda accord key fob
Read the owners manual that came with the car. Key battery replacement details are in there.
Open it up and check and see.
Open the key case with a jeweler's Philips screwdriver. Remove the back cover. Use the Philips driver to remove the two screws that you now see. Remove the battery cover. My key uses a button battery: CR 1616. Note tyhe battery you need and buy a new one (RS store is a good place). Use a jeweler's flat blade to lift the battery up and slide out. Replace with a new battery and reassemble.
