does any solar light batteries work for Alpan
Yes you can use regular batteries in solar lights but it won't work on some solar lights like the inwood solar lights but some inwood solar lights can run on regular batteries. But some solar lights can only work on rechargeable batteries and come on at dusk and off at dawn or after six hours.
Solar garden lights work by taking the energy from the sun's rays and converting it with batteries stored inside of the garden lights.
fullriver 400mAh
It can be rechargeable or regular but it won't work on some solar lights if your solar light don't work put a new battery in it if it still don't work put a rechargeable battery in it then it will work.
I have 20 solar-powered lights outside my house. The AA size rechargeable batteries that came with them were rated at 400 mAh (milliampere hours) and the lights would stay on for about 4 hours after sunset. I replaced them with 2300 mAh rechargeable AA batteries, and all of the lights now stay on from dusk until dawn.
600 mah 3.2volt
I would strongly suggest the use of rechargeable batteries over conventional batteries. Non rechargeable batteries could "explode" during recharging. Any rechargeable battery will work if they are the same voltage.
Solar light batteries are special rechargeable batteries. Different lights may have different strength battery. Best option will be to open the battery box to see the type of battery before buying it. Sometimes it is cheaper to buy new lights then to buy replacement battery.
Q: I am wondering also, I have ni-cd 400mAh in my solar lights but most batteries seem to have higher numbers. Hope someone can answer whether it matters! In general, it's best to stay with the TYPE of batteries your solar lights came with. For years NiCd - Nickle Cadmium batteries were used most often - and still are. More recently some solar landscape lights come with NiMh - Nickle Metal Hydride batteries. NiMh and NiCd have very different charging, discharge, shelf-life and electrical characteristics. NiMh can be rapid-charged, but NiCd need a slow, trickle-charge. The design and circuitry of the solar panel in your lights may be best geared to using and charging the type of batteries it originally came with. So in general, staying with the kind that came with 'em is usually best. You can try other types and see how they perform (or not) for the continuous, slow discharge pattern solar garden lights have. That said, both types of batteries (say AA size cells) come in different MaH - milliamp hour 'strengths' - the higher number, the more charge a battery can hold. NiCd batteries are typically between 400-1200 so if you do buy replacement batteries you may find you get better all-night performance upgrading from say the original 500MaH batteries to some rated 800 as an example. If I understand the type of light you seem to be referring to correctly, the answer is no you need rechargeable AA batteries (e.g. NiMH). Normal AA batteries (e.g. alkaline, heavy duty) are not rechargeable and can be damaged or even explodeif it is attempted to recharge them.Use only the type of batteries the instructions for such devices specify.
There are no solar car batteries you can buy. You can purchase a solar battery charger and solar panels but not a solar battery that you install in a vehicle.
How do the cars solar collectors work together with the batteries?
