Because Google Translator does not provide the Hiragana or the exact meaning for words with different meanings (like ball or bat), Rikaichan, a Mozilla Firefox Addon, can be used to translate the word by rolling over it to make sure the word is correct.

I would recommend you use a Japanese keyboard extension on your computer if possible, there are many options for the kanji, this is the first option that came up "久爪" Though I do not know the translation for the first kanji(久), the second one (爪) means hook or claw.

Depending of the kanji it could mean many things. The most common one I found was 'Island Shellfish'
Commonly it means 'relation' but with different kanji it could also mean an 'evil plan, mischievous plot, trickery, etc'.
