You need 2xHarl grass to make linen thread, and spin it on a spinning machine, you need a tent to make a spinning machine.

How to make a spinning machine:

Go to your tent, ( if you dont have one talk to the old lady in Kelan Village the last house)

Then, click on your work table, then click on "+" on wooden saw ( if you do not have a wooden saw I suggest you make one)

After, it should come up as a list scroll down until you find spinning machine, but you need to get the requirements for it.

Once you have everything you need for the spinning machine, Make It BUT be sure not to move your character because if you do move your character you lose all of the things to make your spinning machine and then you have to start all over again.

If you dont know where to get harl grass, just above starter beach there is a portal go in it, and then go to your left, you will find a little step thingy and go up it, then go left past the monsters you will find a bush that you can click on. Click On It, sometimes it will give harl grass you just have to wait. I hope you find it :)
