What is Montage Dragon's ATK and DEF after you play Shield and Sword in Yu-Gi-Oh?
For a strategy that involved Montage Dragon and Shield and Sword, you need to know what both cards do and what their original Value is. Normally Shield and Sword switches the attack and defense points of all the monsters on the field, thus it would apply to Montage Dragon. However, Montage Dragon is a special affect Monster: This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card cannot be Special Summoned except by sending 3 other monsters from your hand to the Graveyard. This card's ATK is equal to the combined Levels of the sent monsters x 300.The Level of montage Dragon’s attack is equal to the combined LEVEL or Star count of the monsters sent to the graveyard times 300. For example if you sacrificed a 3 star monster, a 6 star monster and a 4 star monster to the graveyard, the combined level of starts is 13. 13 X 300 = 3900 so Montage Dragon’s attack points would be 3900. HOWEVER, note that this is ONLY for its attack points. Its regular Defense points are listed as 0: this cannot change unless it is given magic or trap cards to increase its defense points.
