I don't know the exact answer to this question but I can give you some good direction.
Find a well renowned luthier. (If you want to make things more expensive - I suggest finding a luthier outside of the country you live and that speaks a language you don't. - you'll have to pay for a translator and for import costs/shipping costs!)
Commission the Luthier to make a ONE OF A KIND doublebass for you. Have outrageous demands such as only using real ivory for any type of inlay work and using real gold and platinum for all the metal.
Once the instrument is made - arrange to have it "tour" with professional bassists. You could have all the big musician's sign it for you after they played the concert (preferably televised).
Sometime during the "tour" or shortly thereafter - the luthier would have to die, or loose a limb - so he could never duplicate the instrument.
I'm sure that this would result in one incredibly overpriced musical instrument. Of course - anything custom made and one of a kind is going to be expensive in the first place.
