Your 1997 Honda is already OBD2 compliant. All 1996 and newer vehicles sold in the U.S. are OBD2. To verify, look under the hood for a VECI label. The VECI label will indicate whether or not the vehicle has OBD II.
Check VECI label under hood!
Should be located under the hood, somewhere in the engine compartment.
I think its 10 degrees before top dead center (the 0)

Directing under the VECI label / sight shield, which is the long black plastic cover located next to the latch for the hood. The label is bolted down with 4 screws; under the label is the relay control module, a black box held to the car's chassis by two screws. There is a bundle of wires running from the RCM to a connector.

This would be easier to answer if you told us what engine you have. It should be printed on the VECI label. The VECI label, if destroyed, can be purchased from your local GM dealer. It usuaslly costs about $12, but sometimes they give it to you for free.Failing that, it's probably .035 but might be .042. Go with .035 and it'll ride up with wear.If you buy AC Rapidfire plugs or any good brand of platinum plugs, they will be pre-gapped. Bosch is not a good brand of plugs unless you like to burn wires and coil boots. Instead, go for Autolite, NGK, Denso, Motorcraft, AC, or even Champion first.
