Contact your local Red Cross branch to find out when they are holding classes. There is usually a nominal fee, and the certification has to be renewed periodically.

I took a class of Red Cross babysitting and they taught me first aid and CPR. I think there is a separate class you can also take just for CPR and first aid. I'm pretty sure my babysitting class was around 40-60 bucks.
