There aren't many dance academies that teach poledancing. It's just something you can either do or you can't, but if you explore the internet you might find some good tips. Just try to move your hips around in a circular motion and try to make a sexy face. But be sure not to make a silly face so practice your sexy face in the mirror at home before performing in front of a group. When poledancing, try not to do anything you aren't sure you can do. Don't try to do a real neat trick unless you've practiced and perfected it already. Trying to be sexy without looking sexy can be embarrassing. I think there's a how-to book somewhere. Go to amazon and see if any of your local bookstores carry it. I think you can find it at your local Spencer's Gifts.
The dance pole is a third party download. It comes with a long read me file, which you do need to read.
