In place of the coolant drain plug on either side of the block.
Not to my knowledge there is not. I have a 90' suburban with the barn doors. The hinge mounts are a part of the actual body. I do not believe the mounts are manufactured into the body of a suburban with a tailgate.
there are companies that offer conversion motor mounts precisely for this swap.Advance adapters out of California makes the one i used
Change motor mounts and install...
i need the bracket that the ignition cylinder slides into.... the piece that mounts to the stering column
NO IT WILL NOT. Must use V-8 frame mounts and motor mounts.
The 4.3 is a V6. If the Sierra had a V6 in it, then it will. If it had a V8 in it, then you will have to move the motor mounts and/or purchase motor mounts for the conversion.
yes, lots of work...new engine mounts, tranny mounts, exhaust routing, axleshaft conversion, ECM routing. it has been done for lots of ca$h!
The company Chief Mounts manufactures a wide number of mounts, such as TV mounts, monitor mounts, tablet mounts, projector mounts and interactive mounts.
you can do anything if you have the proper tools. you will need a new gas tank lines motor mounts are in a different place on the frame, but it can be done.
well it could be the transmission bracket or ur motor mounts but im not real sure
Bicycles made from small motors require the same components as a conversion kit. An engine, mounts and belt for the drivetrain needs to be installed properly. As well as shifters.
You need to replace the k-member with 1 from a v8 Duster, it has the proper engine mount brackets, would also replace front drums with disc brakes if it has drum, with added power, need better braking. you can buy a conversion kit also if you cant find a k member these mounts will bolt right in to the existing k member and bolt to the v-8
