If you chose a Chikorita, your enemy will have a Cyndiquil. If you chose a Totodile, the only way to see it is to trade for it. If you chose a Cyndiquil, you will have already seen it. The easiest way is to trade for it.

All we need to do is swap friend codes and pick a time to do it. Other Pokemon in the Johto Regional Pokedex that you can't see are Politoed, Scizor, Mew, and Celebi. These must be traded for with a friend, and can't be requested or searched for via GTS. Correction- I haven't done it yet, but if you obtain Bugsy's phone # and rematch them, their improved team will have Scizor.
