My Chevy Syburban is consistently loosing antifreeze every couple of days.
Put new water pump on, radiator hose still loosing antifreeze somewhere
What coud be the problem I do not want to replace the head gasket or something else
will cost over $1000
If a head gasket is blown, the vehicle will normally run rough, if at all, due to water vapor in the cylinder(s). If your windows are constantly fogged up, you probably have a faulty heater core which would deplete antifreeze. There might also be a leak in the radiator or transmission cooler. Or maybe just a faulty hose.
out the tail pipe
it could mean you need a new carburetor
check the antifreeze sensor as it could of been damage. or there could be some sort of air in betweenthe antifreeze hoese
after your all out of a gas it could keep you going for 30mins or so...
could be your thermostat or you have no antifreeze coolant or your water pump is going bad
the heater core could be stopped up, or could be low of antifreeze, or the thermostat could be stuck open
you might have a blown head gasket and the coolant is leaking into the cylender and the engine is burning it.

NO! Take it to a mechanic immediately. Call AAA at once, if you are a member. Oil is not antifreeze and antifreeze is not oil!
if you have antifreeze in the oil means you have a leaky head gasket.... or if your engine has the oil lines going to the rad like some s10s had get a pressure check on the rad could be leaking there as well
Please reserve a spot for me at your table. I am going to reserve a table at that restaurant. Our platoon is being held in reserve.
you have leak somewhere
