Amelia Earhart's plane, I think, went down in the Bermuda Triangle caused by bad weather and not enough fuel.
1. She was in fact not even in the same ocean as the Bermuda triangle when she went down.
2. She was unable to find the small island in the middle of the ocean that had her support crew.
3. Though weather did likely make the celestial navigation she was using difficult, and winds are thought to have delayed her flight, one good book on the topic notes that she informed the support teams to broadcast radio navigation information on a frequency her equipment was not capable of receiving. Best guess is somewhere in the Pacific Ocean in the general area of Howland Island. The margin for error using celestial navigation made it nearly impossible for her to find the island without using her radio navigation equipment.
She and her navigator, Fred Noonan disappeared on 2nd July 1937.
Amelia was taught to fly in 1920.
Amelia was taught to fly in 1920.
1937
Not really a flight school, but she was taught by two very experienced pilots.
She wasn't planning on going far. Her first flight was around Kinner Field near LA.
Nobody ever found out
No, she went missing in 1937 when she made her utimt to fly over the pacific ocean
Amelia and her navigator Fred Noonan left Lae, New Guinea heading for Howland Island, almost 2,500 miles away in the Pacific. They never arrived.
In the middle of the Pacific Ocean, somewhere near Howland Island.
apparently she didn't get to complete it ... she was dead before she could finish
No it does not
