I'm Australian. Australia doesn't have a specific religion. You could perhaps argue that it follows the Anglican because Australia at this time is still a colony of england, and that they use some formal type of anglican liturgy in the parliment at some times, and therefore perhaps you could argue that Australia is a Christian country. Actually in reality its a pluralistic society where all have the right to believe or not to believe, similar to the USA first ammendment, although the corresponding law in Australia separating church and state is not so pronounced as there.
