When Charles Darwin was working on his book "Origin of Species" he would go outside and study animals, plants, and the environment itself. It was after all his notes were collected he thought of publishing his book, and strung all his notes together and discovered that his book was actually good. It was after his voyage on the Beteal, that he enjoyed life and nature itself.

Darwin originally wanted to become a Doctor, but the sight of blood made him faint. (he also married his first cousin)
