-They are the same people but the Romans and Greeks gave them different names.

Nobody knows where Pluto came from, but if the Romans followed the same beliefs about Pluto as the Greeks did about Hades, Neptune and Jupiter - Poseidon and Zeus in Greek mythology - would be the brothers of Pluto.
