Cario as is the capital know was the main city of power in ancient times according to finds found. it is also smack in the middle of the upper and lower kingdoms of Egypt making it the ideal place to govern and give orders from. whiel there is no solid proof saying he did rule from here it is the most likely location. also being near the river Nile garanteed he had plenty of fresh food all the time which would make it an ideal location to be at.

Everything above is false. Cairo was built by the Moslems. It was built on a trading post not another previous city. Cairo is across from Giza's (Jeezah) three pyramids. Memphis is further south of Cairo, and Thebes is another 70 miles south of Memphis.
