All of the pagon gods they worshipped were extremely violent like Camazotz, the god of darkness and vampires. Him and his followers would kill and suck the blood of the mayans. He was the worst and most gruesome of all the Mayan gods. Hearing this I think we can safely say that yes, the Mayans are were scary.
