The Trans-Canada Railroad stretches from Vancouver to Toronto. It goes over the Rocky Mountains. It has bought other railroad tracks to go to Chicago, North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota and Wisconsin. The railroad played a large part in settling western Canada.
