The first battle of the Texas Revolution was the Battle of Gonzales on 2 October 1835. It wasn't much of a Battle since only one Mexican Dragoon was killed and one Texican was wounded.

The last battle of the Texas Revolution was fought on Apr. 21, 1836 along the western bank of San Jacinto River, where the Texan Army led by Sam Houston routed the Mexican Army and captured his commander, Santa Anna, who agreed to recognize the Independence of Texas.
It was actually the Battle of Gonzalez on Oct 2, 1835.
