Its possible that there was once a vast civilization on mars. And due to changes on the red planet( whether it be climactic changes, or something else) the metals used in that vast world wide civilization( probably a giant city that covered the planet) eroded away leaving behind nothing but the reddish iron oxide on the planet.
iron oxide
i had this in my homework, its Mars
The rocks and sediment on Mars are rich in iron oxide, which is essentially rust.
Mars is called the red planet because its surface appears reddish in color due to the presence of iron oxide, or rust, on its surface. The iron oxide gives the planet a reddish hue when viewed from Earth.
i think mars
Mars is covered in rust. Iron oxide to be exact. The iron oxide is simply a dust that covers the entire surface in varying depths. That dust is picked up by wind and carried into the atmosphere where it reflects the red part of the light spectrum and, viola, Mars is the Red Planet.
Mars
The terrain on Mars is a rocky surface that contains iron oxide. This iron oxide gives Mars its read appearance.
It gets it from iron(III) oxide dust. Iron(III) oxide is rust.
The is no known planet composed primarily of Iron Oxide.
The red planet (or Mars) is a planet that contains both iron oxide and polar ice caps. Mars contains iron oxide in its soil, which gives the planet its red appearance.
mars because mars is red
it is due to the iron oxide on the surface
Yes
Mars is called the rusty planet because of the large amounts of iron oxide (rust) on the surface.
