In the Ark of the Covenant (Exodus ch.25).
The stone tablets on which the second set of the 10 commandments were engraved were kept in the ark of the covenant. Some say this also contained the fragments of the broken first set of stonee tablets. The Torah also says that a jar of manna was kept there as proof of the time spent wandering in the desert.
Stone tablets
The Ark of the Law contained the stone tablets of the Ten Commandments. According to the Old Testament, it was a sacred repository for this important religious artifact.

The Ark of the Covenant is said to have carried the tablets of the Ten Commandments given to Moses by God, as well as Aaron's rod and a pot of manna.
Moses
The two structures were the Tabernacle, a portable tent used by the Israelites during their desert wanderings, and the Ark of the Covenant, a sacred container that housed the stone tablets of the Ten Commandments.
It was Moses who received the written Ten Commandments (the two Stone Tablets) and conveyed them to the Israelites (Exodus 31:18).

Moses carries stone tablets which contain the Ten Commandments from God. The number of tablets varies with each version of the story, but it is usually only one or two tablets.
