Private owned arms manufacturers, The manufacturers had government contracts, There was A revolver built to military specs. that had an orriginal supply price of $25.00 Ea. then another co. decided to try and built it as well, They found out that they could produce it for $12.50 EA. I can't remember the name, but, maybe someone knows and will add it.
