The noun 'guacamole' is a Spanish-American word originating from the Nahuatl, or Aztec, term ahuacamolli: ahuacatl(avocado) plus molli (sauce, paste).

It still has the same meaning today: a sauce or paste made from mashed or pureed avocado, usually crushed with lemon or lime juice and aromatics such as onion, garlic and other seasonings, sometimes with tomato, and served as a dip or spread, or an accompaniment to other foods.

Once upon a time someone had a so many avocados grow upon his own tree

he didn't know what to do with so many avocados upon his own tree!

Alls of a sudden, Prometheus (he brought us down fire, yes, but he also) came down and taught thisdude how to make a new creation called guacamole.

So the person picked all the avocados from the tree

made pounds upon pounds of guacamole (w/hint o lime).

the children of the village gathered 'round and screamed "Holy cajoule! That's a lot of Guacamole!"

then all of a sudden they all of a sudden broke out in to song and dance.

performing the classic 1996's hit "Holy Guacamole Time".

Yes it may have had a similar melody and dance moves to the popular dee dee sharp's "Mashed Potato Time"

but it defined itself with more of an emotional depth and undertones of flamenco influences,

as well as a bit more salts with a hint of lime.

ever since that day when ever something astonishing happens we give praise and thanks to Jah-Prometheus by screaming "holy guacamole"

and by screaming this to Prometheus you help him and other folks save hundreds by switching to alternative energy sources

it has also ben know to cure one or two types of stds

Though monsanto has shut down all further studies

I'd like t give a shout out to my mama and pops

jesus, the remaining memebers of sublime, terry from tgfi on main,

Im eating, f*** you!

Funkadelic Rocks!

Legalize something!

Where did the term holy cow come from?

"Holy cow" is used as tamer replacement for "holy Christ!". It is thought to have originated among baseball players, who did not want to get in trouble for using sacrilegious speech, and may have come from the Hindi idea that the cow was sacred. This theory is supported by the first recorded use of the phrase in a letter to the editor that refers to "holy cow" as a "Hindoo oath".
