Celsius is based on the freezing point and boiling point of water so if it is 0 Celsius than it is the freezing point of water and if it is 100 Celsius than it is the boiling point of water
On the other hand Fahrenheit is based on how hot and how cold it got in Germany that year...I know bad right?
A thermometer measures temperature.
A thermometer measures temperature, indoor or outdoor.
A thermometer measures temperature by using the liquid inside of the thermometer. It measures temperature by Celsius and Fahrenheit.
Temperature measures heat.
Temperature measures how fast molecules are moving or in scientific terms it measures the AVERAGE KINETIC ENERGY in a system. Temperature measures how fast molecules are moving. :):)
A temperature probe is a digital thermometer.
A thermometer will measure the temperature of a liquid.
a barometer measures air pressure. an anemometer measures wind speed. a thermometer measures temperature.
When a thermometer reaches thermal equilibrium, the temperature of the thermometer and the substance it is measuring are the same. Therefore, the thermometer is essentially measuring its own temperature.
It is degrees.
