Where did they fight and why in World War 2?

They fought in Japan and the countries in Europe. The U.S. sent troops into Japan to neutralize them. The United States later dropped two nukes on two of Japan's major cities: Nagasaki and Hiroshima. The results were devastating but Japanese Prime Minister Tojo gave up. In Europe, the Holocaust got the attention of the U.S. and other allies. Therefore, the allied countries invaded on D-Day to eliminate the axis troops and Wehrmacht(Nazi Germany).
