well you see it actually was made by the Germans back in 1849 when they came up with the basic plan but it was just a copper frame coverd by letherand had a top speed of 10 mph until the Americans saw this creation and decided to recreat it just with metal and then 20 yrs later Ford the very first car brand ever came up with the model-twich had a top speed of 30.
