Where does all energy on earth come from?

MOST of the energy comes from the Sun.MOST of the energy comes from the Sun.MOST of the energy comes from the Sun.MOST of the energy comes from the Sun.

Where does all the energy of the earth originally come from?

Originally, all the energy on the Earth, in the universe, really, came from the "Big Bang". Early giant stars that went supernova created all the various elements, which coalesced into the planets making up the early solar disc. This material, by Accretion, formed into the planets around a large ball of hydrogen which later became the sun. This accretion, known as a bombardment, imparted the energy of these impacts into frictional heat energy. A secondary "great catastrophe" which formed the moon imparted more heat to the Earth. Radioisotopes impart a small amount of heat to the inner planet, but this is naturally decreasing as the elements break down into more stable elements. The gravitational (tidal) pull of the moon, and to a lesser extent the sun, also imparts some frictional heat to the Earth. The remaining energy on the Earth has been transmitted by heat radiation from the sun, which, for the last 4 billion years or so, has been shining on the Earth.

What is the primary source of all energy stored on the earth?

The Sun is the primary source of all energy on Earth.

Where did Fossils fuels originally get their energy from?

Nearly all energy on the earth comes originally from the sun - including fossil fuels. To the best of our knowledge, fossil fuels come from the conversion of deposits of matter that was once living into the fuel via lots of pressure, heat, and time after it was buried deep in the crust. The plants that contribute to the fossil fuels got their energy from the sun via photosynthesis. The animals got their energy ultimately from the sun by eating plants that got their energy from the sun by photosynthesis or other animals that ate the plants that got their energy from the sun by photosynthesis.

Where does nearly all of the energy in the tides originally come from?

From Earth's rotation. Therefore, if tidal energy is used - or not used, but just wasted in friction - Earth will gradually rotate slower and slower.

Where does all energy for life on earth come from?

the sun

Where does all energy in a ecosystem originally come from?

All energy in any ecosystem originally comes from the sun. the energy is then passed on to the producers. including plants, trees, and anything else that uses photosynthesis.

Where does the energy come that is used from all living things?

All earth's energy comes from the sun.

Where does all energy ultimately come from on earth?

The Sun, unless it is geothermal energy (heat form the Earth's core) which originates from radioactive decay.

Where does all the energy from the earth come from?

From the sun, gravity, and the heat from the interior of the planet.

Where does an ocean wave get its energy directly from?

It doesn't come all from one source. The energy come from wind, earth's rotation and ocean currents

Where does the energy used by living organisms on Earth come from?

Ultimately, it all comes from the Sun.

Where does all the energy that influeces weather and causes plant to grow on earth come from?

The Sun.

WHY IS THE SUN CALLED THE PRIMARY SOURCE OF ENERGY?

Because almost ALL sources of energy on Earth derived originally from sunlight. (Exceptions are gravity sources [earthquakes] and thermal vents.]
