Black market.

They don't

They break in and steal yours.

They are criminals ALREADY, whats a little breaking and entering?

This is why it is so stupid that I cannot carry my concealed gun into a restaurant that serves booze in NC. 70% of stolen guns are stolen from vehicles in NC.

Do criminals mainly purchase guns in pawn shops?

No, despite the public perception. For a pawn shop to pawn or sell firearms, they must have a Federal Firearms license. When buying a gun from a pawn shop, you will complete the same paperwork, police background check, etc, as if you were buying from a gun store. Criminals obtain their guns mainly by stealing them. I enjoy shopping in pawn shops, and occasionally you find good bargains there. PS- as far as pawn shops selling stolen goods- they are regulated by the police, you will need ID to pawn or sell an item there. Pawned items are checked by the police against a list of items reported stolen.

What is a good conclusion on Gun Control?

all gun control accomplishes is keeping guns out of the hands of criminals that try to buy a gun legally, but almost ALL criminals don't buy guns legally they get them from other criminals, illegally. it is impossible to keep guns out of the hands of criminals because a criminal does what a criminal does best, break the law and get them illegally (Black Market), and since they don't follow the laws making more of them only hinders law abiding people not the criminals, they will still get any type of gun they want because the all mighty dollar is king. Even if we outlawed all guns the criminals will still have them they would smuggle them into the country just like drugs. The only thing that would accomplish would be law abiding people would be defenceless and the criminals would rule , and yes they take the cops guns from them too when they outlaw all guns, look at England . So i see it like this keep the gun laws we have now and inforce them don't wast my tax dollars to make more laws that only hurt me When guns are outlawed, the only people will have guns are the criminals. and when seconds count, the police are only minutes away

Should there be stricter laws on owning a gun?

No. Stricter laws for owing a gun does nothing to stop crime or to keep criminals from buying guns since by definition, criminals don't buy guns legally. Maybe the debate should be extended to crazed psychopaths with guns? Obviously the laws need changing.

What are machine guns mainly invented for?

How many criminals are killed by guns in US each year?

Should gun control be stronger?

Why?, all it does is make buying guns harder for law abiding citizens. If the governemt is trying to lower gun crimes this way, then making gun control stricter IS NOT going to do ANYTHING, since criminals get their guns ILLEGALLY, NOT at gun stores. You can make all the strict laws you want, but criminals arent going to be affected by it, since they don't get guns the way normal law respecting citizens do. The government can ban ALL guns in America, and criminals will still have plenty of guns to murder with, acquired through illegal means.
