Crocodiles has two stomachs. One is named the muscle stomach and contains swallowd stones wich helps to mince its food. After it has been minced it goes over to the glundular stomach (körtel magen) where the food melts with help of stomach acidity. Crocodiles has more stomach acidity than other animals wich help the crocodile to melt the food faster and even melt down the animal bones.
Almost all the fat they get from the food they store in its tail and along its back.Crocodiles is very lazy animals and likes to live on the fat they got in their fat storage. That is the reason why crocodiles always move slow and dislike to move fast. They also grow very slow because they don´t eat very often.I don't think alligators store fat. But if they do(which they might) they would probably store it in there stomach. Now, Who ever is asking this question don't rely on the answer,i'm just guessing:).
Reptiles don't need to burn calories like we do. They all have very slow metabolisms. Although a large alligator can live up to a year without food, it is not necessarily healthy for them.

Just about everywhere under the skin. But males store much more in their bellies and females store more in their hips and thighs.
Meat fats are generally classified as "saturated" where as plant fats are "poly- or monounsaturated." The body utilized poly- and monounsatuated fats as an energy source more readily than saturated fats, which the body tends to store.
