i don't think that teens have much of a say in the american political system. lots of teens are not just pot heads and drunk drivers, there are teens that are like that but not all of them. its clear to me (being a teen) that the people around me are smarter than there parents. maybe not book smart but in general knowledge we do have a advance that seems to not be with are parents. The way that are parents have blown over there children by putting us in a place of major debt, a dying earth, and a country at war with its self. This place that we, the younger generation is forced to inherit and try to solve shows how low on any political ladder we rank. this has made my generation learn the right from the wrong, the good from the evil, what not to do. of course we know all this but since we are ignored by are parents we do the wrong we embrace the evil. its relay a cry out to are parents so we can be heard and let the country know that we care about what happens to the world and how we receive it. so if the old maybe once listen to the young we could change things for the better and teens will then clime the political ladder. i mean we are going to have to clime it at one point so why not sooner.
