Where do people go when they die if they don't believe in God?

They go to the same place as those who do believe. Remember God is no respecter of persons. Those who do believe in God do not necessarily know God, and are in some way on the same par as those who do not believe.

Those who do not believe do so for various reasons, they may not have been taught about God, of His goodness and kindness. They may have lost their faith in Him for some reason. Or they may have no interest at all.

When the believers and none believers die all will go to a place we call Paradise. It is there that all will be taught the gospel in all of its entirety. Those who believe will go on to learn more, those who still refuse to believe, (And do not forget everyone will still have the right to accept of reject what they are taught). These will go to a place called Spirit Prison. At the final judgment day all will receive the reward they have earned for themselves. Some comfort for the non believer is that they will receive the best that the Lord can give them.

In saying this we must remember that in heaven there will be a weeping and wailing and gnashing of teeth by those who could have believed but did not.
