sunlight
Plant cells store energy from the sun. They do this because they need the sunlight to make food and because they cannot create energy on their own.
animal cells can't make their own food, plant cells can so animal cells need to eat plant cells
plant cells need photosynthesis and respiration to create energy for cell work, reproduction, and repairs.
Plant cells do need proteins to live/survive. They also make proteins.
Plants need energy from the sun for food, they do this through photosynthesis which is the cells of the leaves (palisade cells, and inside those, chloroplasts), gathering the suns energy and changing it into glucose. the plant can then use this glucose for food. :)
Plant cells need carbon dioxide for photosynthesis, a process in which they convert carbon dioxide into glucose using light energy. Glucose is the main energy source for plant cells and is essential for their growth and development.
Not all plant cells have chloroplasts because many plant cells arent used for photosynthsis. For example the cells of plant roots, flowers, fruits, and eneregy storage organs (eg potatoes), etc don't have chloroplasts because they are not involved in photosynthesis, thus there is no need for a chloroplast.
The chloroplasts in plant cells need sunlight for photosynthesis.
Plants cells have chloroplasts because they need it for a process called photosynthesis. But both plant and animal cells have mitochondria. Animal cells can use the mitochondria to get energy that why they need chloroplast.
plant cells, like any other cell, need a continuous supply of enery to live. if a cell stop functioning it dies and eventually the whole plant or systems dies. plant cells can do both respiration and photosyntheis, whil animal cells can only do respiration, no photosynthesis.. :D
Trees are plants, so it has plant cells that have chloroplast in them which turn sunlight into energy in a process called photosynthesis.
