Many of them go into hibernation; they make burrows in leaves or other soft place where they can stay warm.

Others lay eggs in places sheltered from the cold and then die. The eggs hatch after the thaw.

proabably not, because if the temperature dropped spiders would scram

or find a warmer safer place.

Some spiders do in fact live in the cold. Spiders can live in some areas that get as cold as 32 degrees Fahrenheit or colder.
