How do you remove the brake light cover on a ford focus
To adjust the rear brakes on the 2001 Ford Focus ZX3, first remember these brakes are self-adjusting. Drive the vehicle in reverse and press the brake a few times to clear the lines and set the calipers. Then, stop the car. Place it in park and pull the emergency brake. Pump the brake while the vehicle is turned off. You will feel the brake peddle stiffen.
AnswerHi,It could mean that they need changing, but on my Escort when the emergency brake lever is pulled up just a notch or two, even though it's not actually engaged, the brake light lights up. Try releasing the brake lever and see if that solves the problem.Hope it helps,CubbyAnswerHi,The emergency brake lever may be engaged by a notch or two causing the light to come on. Try releasing the brake handle and see if that clears it up. If not, then it's probably time to visit your favorite mechanic.Hope this helps,CubbyHello,I also had that same problem in my 2000 ZX3, I disconnected the E-Brake Wires and the light continued to stay on and after a couple weeks of driving around i finally decided to check my brake fluid , and it turns out that the sensor that is connected to the brake fluid container will cause your brake light to come on when your fluid is low, that solved my brake light problem.Hope it helps,Brian

You refill transmission fluid through the transmission dipstick tube. Remove the dipstick and, using a funnel, pour fluid into tube slowly in small amounts and check level each time. DO NOT OVERFILL!!! Good luck.
Go to Napa and buy a Repair Manual.
It takes 4 QUARTS.
Start at the longest line aqnd work towards the shortest (RR-LR-RF-LF) Attach a flexible tube to the bleeder screw at the top of the wheel cylinder Place the other end of the tube into a container filled with clean brake fluid Have assistant pump brake pedal and hold approx. 2/3 from the top Loosen bleeder screw Observe fluid in container for bubbles Repeat until no bubbles are observed Proceed to next wheel DO NOT LET MASTER CYLINDER EMPTY DURING PROCEDURE
It is in the passenger fuse compartment , fuse # 46
