How do you add freon to a 1999 Honda Passport
You don't add Freon as it has R134a not Freon. You add it to the low pressure side which is the larger hose.
Find the a/c dryer and it is the low side of the a/c unit, that is where you fill the 134a Answered by Littlestown Lube & Brake Littlestown, PA 717-359-5022
With the Freon and gauge connected to the low side ac port, start the engine. Turn ac on high, and add Freon till the gauge shows full.
R134a
You can add Freon to your 1999 Chevy cooling system through the low pressure port. Connect your Freon bottle to the low pressure port and release the Freon into the system.
The 1999 Oldsmobile Alero does not have Freon in the A/C system. It contains R134 and not Freon which is R12. As I am sure you do not have the proper equipment to recharge the system plus the fact it is illegal to add refrigerant to a system with a leak, until the leak is repaired, take it to a professional and have the leak repaired. You have a leak or you would not need to add refrigerant.
The low pressure port is the same place that you add Freon to your air conditioning system. The low pressure port will have a blue top.

The A/C does not contain Freon. Contains R-134. If you are having to add refrigerant, it means you have a leak. It is illegal to add without first fixing the leak. Special tools are required to repair and add refrigerant. Take it to an A/C specialist.
You can add Freon to your 1999 Chevrolet S 10 pickup truck cooling system, through the air conditioning compressor ports. The ports are located on the top of the compressor. You would add r134 refrigerant through the low pressure port located on the accumulator/dryer.
