The low pressure port is the same place that you add Freon to your air conditioning system. The low pressure port will have a blue top.
In a safe place on the car!
How you do this is to place the bulb under twice as much pressure than it is currently at. Slowly increase the pressure and then increase the temperature by 21 degrees celcius. Once you have done all of this, dip the bulb in paint that contains mercury
The best place to find a used Mercury Mountaineer is to check with the local garages and auction dealers in Syracuse, NY. They are bound to have the ideal vehicle for you.
A pressure sensor allows the AC to turn on if there is enough refrigerant. If the pressure is too low it will never turn on. Of course, there are other possibilities, but that's a good place to start.
The schrader valve located within the low pressure side of the AC system.
you need a rca adapter interface you can get one at car audio place or check eBay
When you go to put freon in, first check to make sure that there are no leaks. Take off the cap on the Low Pressure Side port. Make sure that you have the right kind of freon, and then place it inside the Low Pressure Side, paying attention to the instructions on the kit.

by compressing freon as a gas it can be concentrated in one place where it can be condensed into liquid freon once again; in liquid form it can be evaporated as in the vapor/compression cycle of a mechanical refrigeration system absorbing heat as from the food in your fridge.
When facing the front of the Mercury Mountaineer, the drain plug is on the lower left of the radiator. Place a bucket under the drain plug spigot before loosening to catch the coolant. To empty the radiator, turn the drain plug three-quarters of a turn. Tighten the drain plug before re-filling with coolant.
there is a high pressure switch on the line or the accumalator, unplug it and place a jumper wire into the connector
The pressure at the bottom of a 76 cm column of mercury in a barometer would be equal to the atmospheric pressure pushing down on the mercury column. This is because the height of the mercury column in a barometer is directly related to the atmospheric pressure. Thus, the pressure at the bottom of the mercury column would be the same as the air pressure at the bottom of the atmosphere.
