Generally speaking, there is no "slippery stuff" on Rainbow Looms. The authentic Rainbow Looms are made from a strong plastic without any noticeable slippery or non-stick coating. However, there are many imitation looms on the market, and you may be referring to some sort of slippery substance on an off-brand item.
Cheong Choon Ng, of Novi, Michigan, created the Rainbow Loom in 2010.
Rainbow Looms are not poisonous in any way. Some off-brand toy looms do not meet U.S. quality standards for toy safety. These may be manufactured with inferior plastic that may break easily or have sharp edges that could possibly cause injury. Off-brand rubber bands may also be made of inferior material. But the original brand-name Rainbow Loom and all authentic Rainbow Loom products meet U.S. toy safety standards.
yes they do. and they also sell rainbow loom rubber bands in there dollar section for $1 each
Target stores do not carry the official Rainbow Loom, which is available at Amazon online and on the Rainbow Loom website (link below,) as well as at Michael's Crafts and the Learning Express toy stores. Target carries the Cra-Z-Loom, which is a similar rubber band loom toy. The biggest difference is that the Cra-Z-Loom cannot be changed into various configurations as can the Rainbow Loom.
there are sure to be people who have Rainbow Looms and use them in Kuwait. It would be very surprising if there were not some retailers who carry Rainbow Loom products there, if only for the International Community and children in the International schools. If nothing else, Rainbow Loom products could be obtained through the Internet in Kuwait.
Authentic Rainbow Loom all cost pretty much the same whether you buy them from Amazon, Learning Express toy stores, the Rainbow Loom website, or from Michael's crafts. Plastic looms made by other companies which are similar to the Rainbow Loom, can be purchased from Amazon and many different stores for lower prices. However, these imitations may not be as sturdy and dependable as the official Rainbow Loom. Another possibility is looking for the brand name Rainbow Loom on eBay, or at yard sales.
